This month’s GNABC chapter meeting will feature a presentation by Briar Shaw, BSc., BSc. OT, Reg. OT(BC), entitled, Looking Through the Lens of Function: Care of the Elderly after a Traumatic Event”. (Flyer attached for posting.)

Time: 5-7 pm

Briar Shaw is a Consultant Occupational Therapist in Nanaimo BC with JR Rehab. Her formative years as an OT occurred as a sole charge therapist in the rural northern community of Peace River, Alberta. Briar is currently a contract therapist with JR Rehabilitation. Case management, brain injury rehabilitation, chronic pain, return to work, and mental health in a community setting are all current areas of practice. Briar is passionate about returning people to their pre-injury function regardless of age.
